Mrs. Murderface
I also developed this board game based on “The Game of Life” where the player is trapped in a house with a serial killer and they have to use dice to move around the board. The player can also collect items to escape faster and the killer can activate spaces on the board to catch their victims easier. I served as the main artist and game designer and I used Adobe Photoshop to create the card designs and board design.

D4 Die
“Key” Cards
Rules
The game starts with both the victims and the killers drawing from two separate decks (Victim and Killers) in the middle of the board, which are shuffled at the beginning of the game. Each player starts out with two cards. Each turn they can play a card and put it in the discarded card pile once they have played the card.
The goal of the victims is to lay on a “key” space and use one of the house’s exits to leave. The goal of the killers is to find a wedding dress on the board, marry one of the victims, and kill the other two victims.
The board is set up like a house, with different rooms.
The killer starts outside of the house, while the victims start inside of the house. Movement of the Killer and victim are done with a d4 die.
The victim’s deck consists of cards that allow victims to lay a trap behind them, delay the killer by one turn, evade a trap, and redirect the killer to the nearby room. The killer’s deck consists of cards that let them teleport inside a nearby room, lay a trap card, and force all players to skip a turn.
After a player plays a trap card, they lay down a trap piece.
The victims start in the middle of the board, but the killer starts outside of the board. Movement is decided by a D6 die. The goal for the victims is to grab one of the keys scattered across the map and escape through the exit. The goal of the killer is to marry one of the victims and to kill the others.
Weapon spaces are also scattered throughout the board. The killer automatically has one, but the victims can grab one weapon at a time. If the killer is one space behind them, they roll a D6. Depending on what they roll, that is the number of spaces they are pushed back.
There are various rooms across the map, if players land on their spaces, they can hide in these rooms for two turns.
